民國96年台灣地區的天文星象

中央氣象局表示：民國96年（西元2007年）全球計有2次日食及2次月食現象，在台灣地區可以看到其中的1次日偏食及2次月全食。3月19日的日偏食在台灣地區可以看到全部過程，但3月4日及8月28日這2次月全食在台灣地區僅能見到部分過程。

至於96年適合觀看的流星雨，主要集中在下半年，尤其8月13日的英仙座流星雨及12月14至15日的雙子座流星雨，因為屬於數量較多的大型流星雨，特別值得注意；另外，4月23日天琴座流星雨、7月28日寶瓶座流星雨、10月21日獵戶座流星雨及11月18日的獅子座流星雨等，亦值得大家注意觀看。

Major Astronomical Phenomena in 2007 in Taiwan

Taipei, Taiwan--December 1, 2006-According to the Central Weather Bureau (CWB), there will be two solar eclipses and two lunar eclipses round the globe in 2007. Of which the whole event of a partial solar eclipse on March 19 and only part of the two processes of total lunar eclipses on March 4 and August 28 respectively, can be viewed in Taiwan area.

As for the meteor showers, most worth watching events will be present in the second half of the year. A number of major meteor showers such as Perseids on August 13 and Geminids on December 14~15 will be more significantly. Furthermore, Lyrids on April 23, Southern δ-Aquarids on July 28, Orionids on October 21, and Leonids on November 18 are also noticeable.
